Slashing or whipper snipping your overgrown block will help reduce the fire risk.

City Councils require vacant properties that have become overgrown with long grass or heavy vegetation to be mowed, or slashed prior to the Summer months to prevent the risk of fire.

Your overgrown property should be slashed, whipper snipped or mowed to a height no greater than 50mm and you need to have the cuttings or trimmings removed.

JGS Group will come in and whipper snip your overgrown property, we then rake all the cut grass up and remove it from the property for you.

Compliance is require from the 1st December and your property must be maintained until the 31st May each and every year.
